Alright, this has me sold. It’s bloddier, quicker, and includes online multiplayer. Ninja Gaiden 3 is set for release in 2012 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Players can engage in decapitating their enemies through visceral ways and the plot? Apparently, we will learn more about Ryu’s motivations and the person behind the mask. Hopefully, this doesn’t go the route of Team Ninja’s other project, Metroid: Other M.
Ninja Gaiden 3 will introuce online multiplayer for the first time with support for up to eight players in the game’s online mode. Co-op and competitive play are confirmed along with “new challenges, characters, and missions.” A Wii U version is also teased, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, but that’s all that Tecmo Koei is saying about the game at this point.
