Project Cafe’s Touch Screen Controller Is For Reals

In a report by Nikkei, Nintendo’s high-definition console successor to the Wii confirms that its controller will have a 6′ inch touch screen and front facing camera. Andriasang states that “the controller will give tablet-like controls to games” and “can also be used as a portable game machine.”

The console is expected for release in 2012 and we will see the console unveiling at this year’s Nintendo Media Briefing at E3 2011.
