SEGA Pushes Back 3DS Titles: Shinobi, CRUSH3D

The PR e-mail reads: “Release dates confirmed for CRUSH3D and Shinobi on Nintendo 3DS.” But you can’t fool a fool. The saying goes. Publisher SEGA announced new release dates for both 3DS titles today with Shinobi due out November 15, 2011 and puzzler CRUSH3D for February 21, 2012. Both titles were initially slated for September released.

The trend seemingly is reflective of the dismal state of the 3DS library. Third-party publishers have posted delays on 3DS titles: Cave Story moved to August, the Assassins Creed 3DS title became Revelations, and the recently cancelled Mega Man Legends 3.
