Spanning 6 years thus far, Square Enix’s latest news on its Nomura-led spinoff title comes from Yoshinori Kitase, telling fans to be excited for the future.
“Then there’s Versus XIII, which is currently in development. We released a trailer in January and since then there has been nothing, but I can assure you the team is working extremely hard on it and I think people will be excited when they next see it.”
Final Fantasy Versus XIII was announced for PlayStation 3 in 2006. The latest trailer came out in January 2011.
