Those who know me know that I have a secret love for RTS titles, but my problem is that I’m usually pretty mediocre at them so I steer clear of that multiplayer button. My fear of getting creamed online still won’t stop me from checking out Gettysburg: AW with its combination of the Civil War and steampunk theme, which I still say is severely underused. It also features TPS gameplay and a world editor which will definitely keep me busy.
Features include:
• RTS and TPS hybrid
• 64 players per server
• Multiple gameplay modes including Army Skirmish, and Deathmatch
• 4 maps
• Over 1’000 controllable units on the battlefield at once
• Play as Union or Confederate
• 14 unit types (infantry, cavalry, tanks, ships, zeppelins and more)
• Persistent Point/XP system and Statistics Tracking
• Steam Achievements
• Army Builder with Steam Cloud support for saving your armies
• Integrated World Editor for creating your own battlefields
Gettysburg: Armored Warfare will be available on Steam March 27th for $9.99
