The first Rayman game for mobile devices has apparently earned the Apple’s favor by winning the Game of the Year award for the iPhone in the App Store Best of 2012.
Rayman Jungle Run also received a free update earlier this month, adding new environments and features. Players can travel to a new world with 10 new levels including a Land of the Livid Dead stage. In addition, gameplay has been expanded to include plants, when hit, new platforms appear and new moves such as sliding on water. If you’re into in-app microtransactions, 2 new Rayman costumes and Globox can be unlocked by paying $0.99.
Rayman Jungle Run is currently available for iOS and Android devices for $2.99.
