Skylanders Trap Team will be making its debut on iPad, Kindle Fire, and Android tablets with its console brethren October 5th in North America and October 10th in Europe. The tablet version delivers the same gameplay as its console counterparts and will come with its own controller.
The Skylanders Trap Team Tablet Starter Pack features a Bluetooth Traptanium portal, embedded Bluetooth controller, built-in tablet stand, two Skylanders characters, two traps, and a display tray. Players, of course, have the option of using the controller or the touch controls. All toys are cross-platform compatible, with skills and upgrades intact. This marks the first full Skylanders game available on the go.
Skylanders Trap Team will ship for mobile, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U on October 5th.
