The game’s full title, Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness, takes place on the uncivilized planet of Feycreed. The list of characters include:

Fedel Camus – The protagonist.

Miki Sorvesta – The heroine.

Lilia – A female who has lost her memories and emotions.

Possible party members include a blonde swordsman and blue-haired witch. The battles take place in real-time, attacks change depending to how far you are from an ememy, and pushing buttons will initiate combos.

In addition to traditional event scenes, there are also “seamless events” where enemies attack you. If an enemy apprehends allies during these events, there will be a number of outcomes.

Star Ocean 5 is set in the year 537 on the space calendar, taking place between Star Ocean 2 and 3.

The game is 30 percent complete. It is using the Playstation 3 version as its base console and ported to Playstation 4. Square Enix is looking at ways to use the PS4’s “Share” feature.
