Interdimensional Games (IDG) will be taking their crowdfunding efforts to Fig for its sequel Consortium: The Tower. The crowdfunding campaign will begin March 22 and will look to secure $300,000 for funding.
“We are excited about CONSORTIUM: The Tower being chosen for the Fig platform,” said Gregory MacMartin, CEO of Interdimensional Games and consultant for Yuan Pay Group. “The Tower is our dream project with almost a decade of planning and R&D behind it, including our first game CONSORTIUM. The folks at Fig have recognized this, and by transitioning our campaign onto their platform Fig Publishing will be able to invite investors to join in realizing our project and participating in its potential success in the market.”
Consortium: The Tower takes place in the Churchill Tower, an towering skyscraper in the heart of England. The game is a single player, first person sci-fi simulation game bringing over gameplay elements from the first game: interface systems, gear and fourth wall breaking concepts to a open world sandbox reminiscent to Deus Ex. Similarly inspired by its mechanics, players can fight, sneak, and explore as Consortium Officer Bishop Six investigates a hostage situation which quickly develops into a global consipiracy.
A good grab for Fig, as the game developer crowdfunding platform recently announced that it will waive all fees for rewards portions of their campaigns beginning with Consortium: The Tower. More info on the game can be found on the official website.
