Obsidian Entertainment and Paizo Inc. have revealed that their upcoming card game, Pathfinder Adventures, will be releasing for iOS platforms, Android, and PC. The game will have players assume the role of an adventurer, as they race against time in order to defeat a dark and dangerous villain.
Players are able to choose a class, alongside their equipment and magic, in order to build a deck of allies to take on their magical journey of fantasy and adventure. Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart commented
“We’re huge fans and longtime players of both the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, and feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Paizo on Pathfinder Adventures. Obsidian has worked on a wide range of computer roleplaying games, from Fallout: New Vegas to South Park: The Stick of Truth to Pillars of Eternity. Combining our cRPG experience and passion for Pathfinder, we had an absolute blast making this game, and hope you enjoy it as much as we had fun making it!”
