Capcom has released a new trailer for Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice, giving players a look at some fan-favorite characters that will be returning in the new game.
The most popular character returning to the game is Maya Fey, Wright’s previous assistant and good friend from the first three games in the series. Maya is now in the middle of a criminal drama in her home Kingdom of Khura’in, where she’s been training as a psychic medium.

Athena Cykes and Apollo Justice will also return, as a rookie attorney and a more experience defense attorney respectively. Athena will once again be using her Mood Matrix to examine witnesses’ emotions t ouncover the truth.

Finally, the newest character in the series will be the pious prosecutor Nahyuta Sahdmadhi, a monk with an international license to practice law in both Khura’in and America. Nahyuta will butt heads with Wright as she seeks justice for the victims of each case, so that they can rest in peace.

Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice will be released for the Nintendo 3DS this September. For more information, check out the trailer above.
