For Tales fans in the west, Tales of Vesperia has been a frustrating point for years. Considered by many to be one of the best games in the series, it originally launched for the Xbox 360 in 2008. A year later, an updated version with new content was released for the PlayStation 3, but only in Japan. The PS3 version and its content never came west.
Now, however, Microsoft’s E3 press conference revealed Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition. This remaster will include all of the content added to Tales of Vesperia for the PS3 release, brought to the west for the first time.
Although it was only officially announced for the Xbox One at the conference, a tweet sent out earlier by Bandai Namco Brazil and confirmed by Bandai Namco Europe lists Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition for the PS4, Switch, and PC (via Steam) in addition to the Xbox One.
Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will be out this winter.
