Eugen Systems Tactically Announces Steel Division II

Recently, Eugen Systems, the developers behind R.U.S.E. and the Wargame series, announced the follow-up to Steel Division: Normandy 44, simply titled Steel Division 2. It’s been confirmed that the upcoming real-time strategy game will feature a new single-player mode, titled Dynamic Strategic Campaigns, and will take place on the Eastern Front. The sequel also boasts a new art style, revamped combat, over 600 units and more. Though there is currently no confirmed release window, Steel Division 2 will launch for the PC, and new info on the game will be unveiled at this year’s Gamescom.

Alexis Le Dressay, Game Director and Eugen Systems co-founder, commented on the announcement:

We’ve made a lot of improvements to Steel Division 2 based on direct feedback from our most avid fans of Steel Division: Normandy 44. For instance, we know they will love the new single-player Dynamic Strategic Campaigns. But we are planning much more for Steel Division 2. Expect more details about new features and units after Gamescom 2018. The game is a true passion project for us, and we hope players look forward to seeing more as development continues.
