Final Fantasy VIII Remaster is Announced

As numerous Final Fantasy titles were remastered and brought to modern consoles, one entry was regularly overlooked. At their 2019 E3 press conference, however, Square Enix finally announced Final Fantasy VIII Remastered.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will feature overhauled visuals as well as a “Battle Reinforcement” option that keeps your HP and ATB at their maximums, a “No Encounters” option, and a “Triple Speed” option. The PC version will also include options to obtain all items, obtain all Guardian Force abilities, max out your G.F. level, max out your gil, max out your magic, learn all special skills, and obtain all Triple Triad cards except for rare cards.

It will be released for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC later this year to celebrate the game’s 20th anniversary.
