Monster Hunter Rise Gets Summer Roadmap

Midway through Capcom’s E3 presentation, Capcom revealed a Summer content roadmap for Monster Hunter Rise. The roadmap shows a number of events and items coming to Rise over the next few months, though there’s not much detail on things beyond mid-July.

Starting on June 18th, players will be able to obtain Tsukino Palico layered armor from Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. On June 24th, version 3.1 will release, which includes Palamute and Kahoot costumes, Event Quests, and new cosmetics and poses. On July 9th, players will be able to use their save data from Stories 2 to unlock the “Rider” hunter layered armor set. At the end of July, there’ll be a second Capcom collaboration and version 3.2 of Rise, then version 3.3 and another Capcom collaboration in August.

In Monster Hunter Rise, you play as a titular Monster Hunter in the village of Kamura. The village is in danger as a result of “the Rampage,” a flood of monsters led by the dangerous Magnamalo. It’s up to the player to hunt monsters, improve their equipment, and battle the Magnamalo head-on to save Kamura.
