As was widely theorized, the recent string of tweets about Final Fantasy VII Rebirth were leading up to a new trailer today, providing a glimpse of the world outside of Midgar, the combat system, and the story of the second part of the remake. Among other things, the new trailer includes Chocobo riding, Red XIII’s combat, and characters such as Bugenhagen and Elena.
It also confirms an early 2024 release window, matching the winter timeframe originally given, and makes special mention of it being a 2-disc game. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be released for the PlayStation 5.
