Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Moved Up to June 14

Previously announced for June 21, Atlus has announced that the upcoming RPG Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has been moved a week earlier. It will now launch on June 14.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, is an enhanced version of the original Shin Megami Tensei V that includes both the original route and an entirely new story route called the Canon of Vengeance, along with general improvements to combat, exploration, and demon fusion. When the main character awakens in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo, he crosses paths with a girl named Yoko Hiromine.

They also encounter four female demons called the Qadištu, who refer to him as the Key of Resurrection.

The game features a turn-based combat system using the Press Turn mechanic, where exploiting enemy weaknesses with your attacks grants you an extra turn. Your actions will also fill the Magatsuhi gauge that allows you to unleash powerful skills, 20 of which are new for this game. Certain skills can also be activated when two demons in your party have a mythological connection or the same alignment. Each demon has its own passive skill referred to as a Unique Skill, as well.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will launch for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows and Steam on June 14.
