At the State of Play, Sony and GungHo Online Entertainment revealed the Lunar Remastered Collection, an upcoming remaster that will bring JRPG classics Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC with updated graphics and sound. Players will have the option of using the original visuals or the new enhanced graphics.
Quality-of-life features have also been added, such as a toggle to speed up battles and new strategy settings. This remaster also marks the first time these games will be available in German and French, in addition to Japanese and English.
Lunar Remastered Collection will be out in Spring 2025.
