In the last State of Play, Omega Force and Koei Tecmo announced Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Tonight, it received a new trailer as well as a release date. It will be out on January 17, 2025 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Featuring a nameless hero with amnesia, it is set during a time of upheaval in the Three Kingdoms. The new trailer shows some glimpses of the story as well as a taste of the “1 vs. 1000” action combat the series is known for. You will both fight on your own and alongside allied Musou officers, with a variety of strategies available to you.
Two bonuses were also reveals for Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Preorders will receive a Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty collaboration costume, while a digital soundtrack featuring 191 tracks from the Dynasty Warriors series will be available as an early purchase bonus.
