Shadow Labyrinth: Dark Pac-Man Reimagining Announced for 2025

A classic series made a return in an unexpected way at The Game Awards with the announcement of Shadow Labyrinth by Bandai Namco. This upcoming 2D action platformer is a new take on Pac-Man, with Swordsman No. 8 exploring a mysterious planet alongside the floating yellow orb PUCK, set after the events seen in the Secret World show. According to Bandai Namco, it also draws inspiration from their broader library of arcade games.

It is in development for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

While certainly an unexpected take on Pac-Man, it will be interesting to see where Bandai Namco takes this new game. Shadow Labyrinth will be out in 2025.
