GDC 09: Ubisoft Unveils RTS ‘R.U.S.E.’

Ubisoft and developer Eugen have revealed a “one of a kind” real-time strategy game titled R.U.S.E.

Coming to PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 by early 2010 – the game will focus on deception, misdirection, and bluffing one’s enemies. Powered by the IRISZOOM engine, allowing players to zoom from a satelite view all the way down to the ground of the battlefield.

Ubisoft is known for innovation and R.U.S.E. continues that tradition, offering the most immense and detailed maps ever seen in an RTS,”

Players can explore the maps using IRISZOOM Engine, which provides an aerial, smooth interaction unlike anything ever seen before.”

The publisher allow stressed the game will be optimized for the Intel Core i7 processor and will be working with Intel to take “full advantage of Intel technology.”
