Bizarre Creations Closes Up Shop, Bids Farewell

1994-2011. Nearly 17 years in development, the UK based Liverpool developer Bizarre Creations closes for the final time today. The studio was unable to find a buyer in the weeks following Activision’s decision to put Bizarre Creations up for sale. We fondly remember the studio that brought us fan acclaimed franchises like Project Gotham Racing, Geometry Wars, and most recently Blur. The studio’s last game was James Bond: Blood Stone which received a 4/5.

In a final send off, a former Bizarre video editor, Eamon Urtone, put together a fond farewell video of slow-motion clips of the studio’s work. Rest in peace Bizarre Creations.

Farewell Bizarre…it’s been an absolute pleasure! from Eamon Urtone on Vimeo.
