Xbox One Releasing in November, Pricing Announced

The Xbox One will release in November for $499.99 in the United States, according to an announcement made during the Microsoft E3 press conference earlier this morning.

Microsoft is releasing a single SKU unit for the Xbox One. The Xbox One will release in 21 markets across the world.

According to Game Informer,the Xbox 360 launched at a $399.99 price point in the U.S. The Xbox One features more entertainment features that exceed what the Xbox 360 originally launched with. A new Twitch TV service was announced for the Xbox One during the Microsoft press conference which allows players to stream directly from the Xbox One console.

Microsoft focused mostly on games during their E3 press conference. The company was criticized for not showing games during their Xbox One reveal in May.

The Sony Press Conference goes live at 6 p.m. tonight. It’s not known if Sony will announce a price point for the PlayStation 4 during their E3 conference.
