Independent Games Festival Announces 2017 Awards Finalists

Known to consumers for elevating and revering the best of each years’ indie games, the IGF Awards finalists for the 19th annual Independent Games Festival have been announced by organizers, selecting 30 finalists from over 650 entries.

Winners will be awarded at the March 1st ceremony during the Game Developers Conference (GDC). Finalists include many of the past years’ better-known indie titles, such as Hyper Light Drifter, Virginia, and Inside, which each lead in nominations for 2017.

The categories (listed in full below) span Design, Narrative, Audio, and Visual Art.
