In a Microsoft Press Conference where the announcement of Final Fantasy XIII coming to Xbox 360 and where Bungie would have revealed a new trailer for their upcoming Halo project is a dream for owners and onlookers alike.
Bungie had reportedly planned a sixty second teaser for their new Halo project following a press event later in the week, on Wednesday, to showcase their new game. However, Bungie revealed that “plans changed” earlier on Tuesday, later promising something “further down the road.” Microsoft has publicly stated that they wanted Bungie to reveal their new project at a “more dedicated event.”
Speculation arises. One may claim that Microsoft did not want to overshadow its FFXIII announcement with the reveal of their core franchise, Halo, at the end of the show. Another may state that it was wise to hold back considering the status of the new E3 and how another prominent press event would be better to showcase it.
