Like Mario, Link has also brought me a number of great memories, and he too has a new adventure in store…so what would I like to see? More than just a new game…
—The Legend of Zelda: The Movie (or The Anime)
Everywhere I look in a Zelda fanclub, I see debate on what a Zelda movie and/or anime would be like. It’s been 20 years since Link graced our TVs beyond the console, so why not bring him a new TV show–or stick him on the big screen in an animated feature? I would be one happy gamer if The Legend of Zelda: The Movie became a reality. But what I’d want to see in said movie/show is another post for another time.
—A Gem of a Game
In Link’s travels, he usually has to collect something. He’s collected the Triforce, medallions, crystals, pendants, gemstones, medallions, instruments, and essences–but why not expand on the Spiritual Stone concept Ocarina of Time introduced and have him go after gems alone? Of course, the Kokiri’s Emerald, Goron’s Ruby, and Zora’s Sapphire would be back, with all new powers.
—Link’s Grand Adventure
According to the Link’s Awakening manual, Link left Hyrule not long after A Link to the Past ended to go on a long journey of adventure. While the Oracle games are most likely two such adventures he went on on said journey, why not build on that and show us some other places he went?
For now, I can only dream…
