With so many new PSN titles coming this way, it’s hard to not release information about your game. Well today, “The Last Guy” has been announced.
Looks weird right? You are The Last Guy to save everyone from the zombies. How’d these infestations come to be? This green laser hit the earth and everyone inside buildings was safe, but the rest turned into Zombies and what not. Horrible!
Oh guess what? You’re actually a Zombie from the Himalayan mountains! Pretty much what you do is you go around to buildings and use your thermography to find people and then they all follow you. You lead them to the “Escape Zone” in which you are all safe. Sound daunting? If you run into a huge boss or even zombies, everyone scatters into buildings and you have to re-rescue them.
There are 10 different types of zombies and several bosses. As you’ve already seen as well, the camera can be zoomed out or in and you are always centered on the screen unless you actually move the camera with the right analog stick.
You’ll also find helpful power-ups, like freezing time, warping back to the escape zone and temporary invisibility, scattered throughout the city to help avoid the pesky zombies.
