Microsoft has announced that a 60GB Xbox 360 will be replacing the 20GB at the $349 price point. The 60GB drive will be the only difference in the new SKU. It will still include one wireless controller, a Xbox Live headset, and one month of Xbox Live Gold membership for free.
Retailers will be cutting the price of the current 20GB to $299. However the $299 price point will not be permanent as the SKU is clearing out in a “while supplies last” fashion. Once sold out, the SKU’s left will be the HDD-Less Arcade system for $279, 60GB Premium system for $349, and the 120GB Elite system for $449.
