Yes, Life with Playstation is a depiction of the world with news all around the globe at the palm of your hands – quite litterally with your controller at your disposal. Not only that, but you can see the world in stunning visuals and run Folding@home in the background while using it.
It’s accessible from the XMB and is going to be awesome when it comes, turns out though, that they’re still signing some documents so as not to get sued or the likes. Quite understandable. With that in mind though, they probably shouldn’t have shown it until signing was pretty much at 90% done.
We’re going to offer this as a free service that will be easily accessible directly from the XMB. Life with PlayStation will feed live content to your PS3 with updates on news and weather on a visually stunning and interactive global map. Imagine being able to wake up to your PS3 to see if you need to pack an umbrella for the day. Or just relax as you listen to your favorite tunes while reading up on top news from around the world.
