Activision Blizzard today has announced the purchase of FreeStyleGames, a UK-based developer best known for the breakdancing game B-Boy.
FreeStyleGames will be working on creating “localized downloadable content” for the Guitar Hero franchise as well as developing a new music based title. The acquisition, according to Activision, represents the a step forward in “its global leadership position in the music-based genre.”
On the developer website, the company stated that it will retain creative control and have the opportunity to achieve their own ambitious targets.
