Level 5 has announced Ninokuni, The Another World, an adventure game in partnership with Japanese studio giant, Studio Ghibli.
Ninokuni will be a DS adventure game what comes with a “Magic Master” book. The book, also appears as an in-game item for the main character, is filled with magic crests, spell recipies, and etc. The player will also use the physical book while playing the game.
Studio Ghibli is notorious for animated classics like Howl’s Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, will be providing animations for the game. A console version is planned but no further details were shed on that.
A North American release was not announced however most Level-5 games such as Professor Layton and The Curious Village and Dragon Quest VIII: The Journey of the Cursed King have made it into the western market.
