Hard times have fallen on the server that hosts thevgs.net and it chose to go offline on Friday and Saturday, so we apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you.
This is also a time where I need to talk to you the future of our site, as we’ve been reaching a consensus among the staff members that daily video game news is not the way to go in building an audience. We’ve been seeing a decline in updates as a result, and its not to worry you, we’re in our transition phase at the moment. Why? Our format is going to change, and it’s going to better reflect upon our abilities and skills as a staff. Many of our staff members work on this site part-time and lead busy lives, resulting in conflicts in delivering up the latest video game news. The only way we can rectify this is if we changed the format to favor small updates but increasing the quality of them. Thus, quality over quantity has become our new focus.
A new site name has been decided for our site and we are confident that this transitionary progress is only temporary. More details will be available as we continue through this massive season of games!

That’s quite fine, the new format is geared towards the style you already provide for our content. I’m thinking of making a newswire post for Sony and Microsoft platforms now instead of providing a number of separate posts for each news piece.
