Ok, so you can connect Resistance 2 and Resistance: Retribution, how? By simply connecting a USB Cable from your PSP with Resistance: Retribution to your PS3 with Resistance 2 in it and select “Infect your PSP!†It’s that simple.
“Infected Mode” lasts until your power off your PSP.
“Infected Mode” allows you to play an alternate storyline. You are infefcted with a mutated Chimeran virus, different from Nathan Hale’s.
Grayson wears a Spector uniform, has glowing Chimeran eyes, gets to use a Resistance 2 weapon – the HE .44 Magnum, “which fires explosive rounds that can be triggered remotely” – regenerates health and no longer needs health packs, breathes underwater and there’s a new class of Intel, that when all collected gives you another R2 weapon, Plasma Grenades.
PSP Plus! is similar to Infecting your PSP in the fact that you simply connect the two games and select “PSP Plus!” from R2‘s menu. You must have a DUALSHOCK 3 controller, because this allows you to play Resistance: Retribution on your television with Rumble Support, a harder difficulty and no more aim-assist.
