The next downloadable episodic content release from Rockstar North’s Grand Theft Auto IV, The Ballad of Gay Tony will launch worldwide on October 29.
Developer Rockstar noted that the downloadable content itself will cost $20. A retail disc containing both episodes called “Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City” will sell for $40 on the same day and won’t require the original Grand Theft Auto IV to play.
In the Ballad of Gay Tony, players will take the role of Luiz Lopez, an assistant to “legendary nightclub impresario Tony Prince (aka ‘Gay Tony’).” The storyline will depict “competing loyalties of family and friends” and the “uncertainty about who is real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price.”
