Happy 15th Birthday PlayStation (In NA)!

Back 15 years ago to this very day (September 9th, 1995), the PlayStation launched in North America, what an epic beginning to Sony’s newest push; CD’s are pretty commonplace now, “There was a time where CD’s weren’t going to become successful??” Along with that, introducing 3D gaming was a big reason it did so well.

How many hours have you ever played non-stop on a PlayStation console? What do you snack on, or do you not snack when playing? (Seriously, you can’t eat and game unless you’re ok with gross controllers) Find out some cool facts of PlayStation owners and a sweet timeline (video and non-video) of Sony innovations involving their PlayStation brand!

Along with being 15 years old, the PSN is offering some free themes, discounted games and classic PS One games!

    Ah, the old PS1 days, I remember being addicted to platformers – Crash, Spyro – that made me fell in love with the system.
