Nintendo 3DS Release Date, Pricing, Lineup

The Nintendo 3DS is coming March 27th in North America, while Europe will see it two days earlier on the 25th. Nintendo made the announcement today at their Nintendo 3DS Preview Event. The 3DS is priced at $249.99, while Europe retailers will set their own prices. It will be available in two colors at launch: Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black. A 2GB memory card will also be available with the system. Nintendo will launch an eShop that will support Gameboy and Gameboy Color downloads, so if you are feeling nostalgic for the old Nintendo hand-held games, the 3DS will be a great way to experience them.

Nintendo also announced that during the time of launch and the start of E3 on June 7th, more than 30 first-party and third-party titles will be available for the 3Ds, however, they did not announce which games will be available at launch. Here is a list of the titles that are being shown today at the event:
