Epic Games Gears of War 3 is set to release on September 20, 2011, according to a confirmation by Microsoft. The game was previously to come out in April, 2011, but it was pushed back to “make it a marquee title for the holiday season.”
The game picks up 18 months after the events of Gears of War 2. More details about the game will be announced at a Microsoft event in San Francisco today. Maybe a Kinect tie-in will get announced today?
