Free 2 Play Comes to Steam

Starting tomorrow, Valve’s digital distribution platform will support Free 2 Play games with the launch of five F2P titles: Spiral Knights, Forsaken Worlds, Champions Online: Free for All, Global Agenda: Free Agent, and Alliance of Valliant Arms (AVA).

Each day will see the launch of a new F2P game starting with Spiral Knights and ending with AVA and will offer exclusive in-game content for users who try the “F2P game of the day” on Steam. In game transactions are handled through the micro transaction system introduced in Team Fortress 2 and the Steamworks platform.
