The mysterious, elusive XCOM has finally resurfaced out of its development shadows with a brand new trailer and a release date: March 6, 2012. The latest trailer for the game shows off the new gameplay features like cover-based shooting, experimental weapons, and a look at our alien foes.
We previously reported that XCOM had underwent troubles since seeing the game at last year’s E3. Hopefully, the delay and media blackout helped to revitalize the game for a less skeptical audience. XCOM arrives on PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.
