Everquest Goes Free To Play in March

After 12 years, Everquest is about to become Free to Play when it hits its 13th year of service. Launched in 1997, Everquest has seen over 18 expansions and countless content updates. The new free-to-play model introduces non recurring vs. recurring subscriptions, Free vs. Silver memberships, item unlockers, and more.

All players, both old and new, will receive brand new items through a ‘Welcome Pack.’ All the details are found in Everquest producer Thom Terrazas letter to the community here.
