Codemasters announced a slew of information today for DiRT Showdown, including an official release date, demo news, and the announcement of the new RaceNet system that will support future Condemasters racing titles.
DiRT Showdown will arrive May 29 in North America, May 25 in the UK, and May 24 across mainland Europe. A demo for the game can be downloaded from Xbox Live Marketplace, PlayStation Network and Steam on PC starting May 1. The demo features a solo and multiplayer event.
Along with the release dates, Codemasters announced RaceNet, a brand new stat tracking system that will support future racing titles from Codemasters. RaceNet allows players to track their races, rewards and rivals. The system will launch in beta with the DiRT Showdown demo. Codemasters will unveil more details and features when DiRT Showdown releases.
DiRT Showdown will release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
