E3 2012: PlayStation All-Stars Will Feature Cross-Platform Play

PlayStation Vita owners will have a chance to experience cross-platform play for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale with PlayStation 3 players.

Sony announced the cross-platform functionality for PlayStation All-Stars during their E3 Press conference on Monday night. The demo Sony presented on stage featured the seamless cross-play by showing off a full match between two PS3 players, and two PS Vita players.

SuperBot Entertainment, the studio behind PlayStation All-Stars, also announced two new characters to the game’s growing roster. Nathan Drake, of the Uncharted series, and Big Daddy, from Bioshock, will join the PlayStation crew when the game releases this Holiday season.
