A new PlayStation 3 slim model is on the way, according to an announcement made during Sony’s press conference at Tokyo Game Show. The announcement confirms rumors of a new model that started swirling around in July of this year.
The new model is 20 percent smaller and 25 percent lighter than the current PlayStation 3, according to John Koller, director of hardware marketing, in his post on the PlayStation blog.
