Today, Nintendo announced a November 18th release for the much anticipated Wii U console in the United States. Offered in two versions, the Basic retails for $299.99 while the “Deluxe” set for $349.99.
The Basic Set includes the Wii U console, the Gamepad, HDMI cable, Wii U sensor bar, and 8GB of storage. This white model is available for $299.99.
The Deluxe Set has 32GB of memory, a GamePad charging cradle, Nintendo Land, and a premium subscription to Nintendo Network through Dec 2014 that offers 10% discounts on downloadable software. This model is black and will cost $349.99.
Current Wii accessories will be backwards compatible with the Wii U console. GameStop is now taking preorders for the Wii U.
