BattleBlock Theater has had a playable build at conventions since 2009 and in Feb. and March of this year you will be able to participate in a closed beta on your own Xbox 360, from home.
The Behemoth is giving out 10,000 invites to their closed beta of BattleBlock Theater. The beta doesn’t have an official date yet, but will start before the end of this March. The game has a bunch of different multiplayer modes both competitive and cooperative which have gone through visible iterations at different shows since its unveiling. It’s uncertain which modes have made it this far in development until we hear more from the team.
The typical Xbox 360 beta requirements are present here: Must have a current Gold membership. Must be at least 13 to register and if you’re under 18 you’ll need an adult to help you out. Additionally a user account for the Behemoth forums is required.
