Microsoft has stayed quiet about their next generation plans amid a storm of rumors. Come May 21 we will have official details ensuring the hype train to be running at full speed come E3.
Invitations have gone out to major press outlets and Xbox spokesperson Major Nelson has confirmed to the public that the reveal will take place May 21 on the Xbox Campus in Redmond, WA.
The event will be live streamed on Xbox.com, Xbox Live and Spike TV. The speculation and rumor madness can finally come to an end. Microsoft would gain a lot of public praise if they address the “Always-On” connection rumors head on. In reality this event will likely only focus on the positives.
Major Nelson also stated the full launch lineup will be announced two and a half weeks later at E3.
I can’t wait to see how Microsoft’s presentation stacks up against the PlayStation 4 event back in February. The next generation of video game consoles is quickly approaching.
