Nintendo unveiled Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze during their Nintendo Direct E3 presentation on Tuesday. The game is the first in a new Donkey Kong series for the Nintendo Wii U. Tropical Freeze is in development by Retro Studios.
The game sees Donkey Kong facing off against Vikings in an attempt to win back his home. Players can now choose Dixie Kong as a co-op partner for Donkey Kong. Diddy Kong is still a playable character.
Nintendo says the game will feature a new “dynamic rotating camera” to heighten the gameplay in different sections of the levels in Tropical Freeze.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is due out in November 2013. Check out the trailer below to see gameplay:
