Funcom Reveals ‘The Park,’ Due Out in October

Funcom has announced The Park, a single-player horror game based on exploring an amusement park.

With the developers behind the award-winning ‘Dreamfall: The Longest Journey,’ The Park centers around a mother whose son goes missing. What unravels afterward, you might guess, is a dark and sinister plot.

Rui Casais, Funcom CEO, had a few words to share about the PC horror game, due out this October.

The Park’ is actually the outcome of what started with a small group of developers experimenting with new concepts and looking at how we could draw upon the universes we have built for our massively multiplayer online games and expand upon them into smaller-scale single-player games. Something special started to take shape, and ‘The Park’ ultimately became something we are eager to share with the rest of the world.

A teaser trailer and initial screenshots follow the game’s announcement, viewed below.
