DOOM Invading the World This May

Zenimax Media, Bethesda Softworks, and id Software have announced that DOOMwill be released worldwide this May. The game will include everything that made DOOMiconic, from hordes of demons to insanely destructive weapons. The game will also feature the Snapmap, allowing players to create, edit, play, and share their own content all around the world.

There will also be a Limited Edition of the game, which will include an exclusive 12″ tall Collector’s Statue of one of the game’s most iconic demons: the Revenant. Modeled from actual in-game 3D files, the Revenant stands on an LED-lit base with internal, slow-spinning turbine from the game’s UAC facility on Mars. It will also come with an exclusive metal case for the game, and will cost $120.

DOOMwill be available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 13. For more information, check out the trailer above.
