Koei Tecmo has revealed new gameplay mechanics that will help you shred hordess of demons in Berserk and the Band of Hawk. Playable characters in Berserk are able to “Awaken” their abilities. These awakenings give the characters extra health, with different stats based on who’s using it.
Guts is able to rain down deadly strikes in his Berserker Armor when awakened, Griffith can deal out swift strikes in his Femto form, and Zodd can decimate enemies in his enormous Apostle form.
Berserk and the Band of Hawk releases for the PS4, PS Vita, and PC on February 21st. For more information, check out the gameplay footage above.
